This will be the back bone of my online Ministry. All are welcome to interact with each other while learning about God, the wonderful blessings he gives us and his compassionate forgiveness. I will give a verse from the Bible then explain in real world examples the meaning.

The Clock Is Running
It Is Written, Romans 6:23, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
This may seem a strange title for a message, but it has great meaning.
People as a whole, are faced with pretty much the same situations in life. Some handle things one way, and some another. One of the toughest situation is when you face a serious problem, or even a crisis. You don't know where to turn, and you don't want to hear about God at that time. That puts you in a very large group. At one time I was a member.
The sad thing is, that is when God is the only answer. There are also people who are unhappy with their lives, maybe even suffering from depression. Their lives are falling apart, in one way or another.
Both groups don't know Jesus, and the joy that relationship provides. Even if someone doesn't get angry when Jesus is mentioned, they still hesitate to give their lives to Jesus and let Him handle everything. The common response is, maybe sometime.
Life is full of wake up calls. In your troubles, that are caused by satan, and poor choices, Jesus is still reaching out to you. No one knows when He is coming back, but He is coming. He could be coming to take his people back with Him, before your next breath. The clock really is running. Seek and you shall find. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.

Let Go Already
Does that verse sound familiar? Do you believe it? Here are a few things to think about, before you reject the idea.
We have all heard about how we should forgive others. Besides being commanded by God, it is just common sense. If someone does you some harm or insult, getting angry and not forgiving that person, means nothing to them. If you don't forgive and forget, it could eat you up, your whole life.
Now we come to decisions and problems. God wants us to put all of our cares on Him. His word says so. The sooner we give our cares to God, the sooner we can be free of them. He wants us to, and there is no limits to His offer.
Life is a journey, just like any trip. When you choose to take a lot of baggage, it creates many unforeseen problems. Traveling light is much easier, and far faster.
Unforgiveness, and cares or worries, is one heck of a lot of baggage. When you do it God's way, the trip is much more enjoyable.
How do you want to travel the journey called life? God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Heaven and hell
One area that always causes strong emotions, is the existence of Heaven and hell. Are they real, or just someone's opinion?
It seems that the majority of people believe that there is a Heaven, and that everyone will go there. They also believe there are many ways to get there.
If you read John 14:6, acts 4:12, John 3:36, Romans 6:23, to name a few verses that say Heaven is reached through Jesus, and no other way is possible, it pretty much answers that question.
Most people cannot, or will not accept this truth. As with many things in life, you cannot make the truth go away by denying its existence. Gravity works, no matter how much we ignore that fact.
A large part of the population of the world, either fools themselves into believing that there is no hell, or they feel hell is one big party where anything goes.
Death is the great equalizer. We go to the place we chose in life. God does not decide who goes where. We do. Unlike justice in this world, real justice comes in the next life. Read God's Word, and decide now. Death takes away choice. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Kind Act = Praise God
When you ask someone how to praise God, you may get a blank stare. Most people believe it is too big and too difficult for anyone to be able to do.
Let's take a realistic look at it. In the first place, if you have not accepted salvation, praising God would never enter your mind. Since that is the case, how difficult is it to praise God? Impossible.
Read Galatians 5:22-23, the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such there is no law. If you follow these verses as guidelines, you will see that this set of guidelines, is the way Christians should live. When you live by these ideas as much as possible, you are following the Word of God and you are indeed praising God.
Let's take it a step further. As you go through your day, you can thank God for all of your blessings. Be sure to include things like, your sight, your hearing, your breathing, and countless other things most people do not even think of as blessings.
By our very existence, living according to God's Word, and being thankful, we are praising Him. One more thing. Prayer is better when we just talk to God from our hearts, rather than reading someone else's words.
That wasn't so complicated, was it? God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

God Must Do It
You may be saying to yourself, that you cannot make God do anything. That is true, but that is not the whole story. If we look at the Word of God, we see some interesting things. Just a few verses and thoughts.
John 5:30 says, I can do nothing on my own, as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
1 John 5:14, and this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
Matthew 18:19, again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my father in Heaven.
If you put all of the pieces together, you discover that the Father cannot go against His own words. In John 14:10 we find that the Father is in Jesus, and Jesus is in the Father.
When we were saved, the Father and the Holy Spirit came to live in us. When Jesus told the disciples to do what he did, and more, it carried on to all believers.
If you follow all of this to its logical conclusion, we are taking Jesus place on earth to do our fathers will, therefore the Father must follow His own words. First through Jesus and then through us. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

The Word Is Life
As most of us know, the Bible is the Word of God. The writers copied what the Holy Spirit told them. It is God's blueprint for salvation.
As most of us realize, there are two forms of life. There is spiritual life, and human life.
Life as most people know what it, is the here and now. The problem with here and now, it is dominated by satan. satan wants everyone to spend eternity with him. satan has no blueprint for getting to hell, because if most people knew it, they wouldn't follow it. Instead, he looks for weaknesses, and he exploits them. Doubt, fear, and all forms of deceit are among his favorite weapons.
The Word on the other hand, is totally opposite. When you know and follow the Word of God, it is always tougher,, and satan's way seems pleasurable.
The result of following God's Word, includes blessings of all kinds. Peace in your heart and mind, as well as a fulfilling life. The eventual outcome is eternity with God. His Word has all the answers for whoever will follow it. God bless you and your family. Praise Lord!

Holy Spirit Baptism
There seems to be some confusion, or lack of knowledge about the Holy Spirit as far as baptism is concerned. Many do not understand, or were not taught the difference between receiving the Holy Spirit at salvation, and baptism in the Holy Spirit.
When we are saved, we automatically received the fruits of the Holy Spirit as written in Galatians 5:22-23. These are evidences of the renewed inner man, and a sign to others that Jesus is in our lives.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate thing. This baptism is by choice.. You must want to be baptized. The baptism may be performed by a pastor, or any spirit filled Christian for that matter, by a simple prayer, such as, I baptize you in the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.1 Corinthians 12:7-11 explains the gifts of the Holy Spirit, when you are baptized in Him.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit are what I call power gifts. The Holy Spirit was the power that enabled Jesus to do the same thing. In other words as Jesus Himself said, and John 14:12, most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my father.
Faith built and maintained by reading and meditating on the Word of God, unlocks the power of the Holy Spirit in a believer's life. Do yourself a big favor, and read 1 Corinthians 12:7-11. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Positive Thinking ?
Many people believe in the power of positive thinking. Books have been written on the subject, as well as numerous self-help books. There are videos and CDs by motivational speakers.
So why do you suppose the majority of people who try these methods fail? All of these methods have one big thing in common. They all count on the person doing whatever it is, by his own efforts.
When you decide to trust in yourself, even though you cannot see the twists and turns of life, you are setting yourself up for failure. You are usually unaware of the price you must pay, whether you succeed or not.
Many people spend a lifetime of stress, loss of the important things in life, such as family, and even the possibility of ever experiencing salvation.
There is an easier way. Instead of trusting in yourself, trust in God. Ecclesiastes 9:11 says the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all. Simply put, give your needs and dreams to God to take care of, and accept Jesus and what He did for all of us, and listen for His voice in your heart, and follow Him.
The fact of the matter is the Holy Spirit sees all, but helps and guides those who put Jesus first. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Finding Trust
Have you ever trusted in someone with something very important? Did they let you down? Were you surprised?
Some people just naturally don't trust anyone, even God. Most people however will at times trust someone else, to do, or not to do something.
The level of trust we assign to someone, is usually based on how well they do what they say they will do. Take your parents for instance. As you were growing up, you trusted your parents because you knew that they loved you and would not hurt you.
Even your parents let you down at times, probably due to circumstances they could not control. If parents let you down, think about how friends can let you down. The ugly truth is most people care only about themselves and not others.
If you look at the track record of our Father God, you'll find that He loves you more than anyone else can. He controls circumstances, circumstances do not control Him. He will keep you from things that will separate you from Him, and ends up giving you more than you expected. So just relax in God's love, and enjoy trust in someone who will keep his word always.
God bless you and your family. Praise Lord!

Jesus In The Boat
We have all heard the story many times. To most of us it is unbelievable that His disciples were afraid, with Jesus in the boat.
If we apply this story to our lives today, we might find ourselves in a panic over some difficulty or other. We may not be in a storm with Jesus in the boat, but we may be in one of the storms of life.
It is pretty common to forget about everything God has given us, and the countless times He rescues us. Sometimes we don't even notice.
Well my friends, I pass on to you, what the Holy Spirit put in my heart. I never thought about what I am about to tell you.
The undeniable truth is, Jesus is in each believer, the way He was in the boat. In may seem that He is asleep sometimes, but that doesn't matter.
Whether Jesus is asleep, or awake, we will make it through the worst storms, because He is always with us. No storm is too great to overcome Jesus so we, because of Him, cannot be overcome either. God bless you and your family. Praise Lord!
