Keys To Salvation

1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

These words paint a true picture of where many people stand in the sight of Almighty God. It seems that people being who they are is a cause for alarm. They are being led by satan and they don’t realize it. There is an answer.

John 3: 16, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

On our own we do things that we don’t realize offend Almighty God. Most of us have a conscience that helps us recognize right from wrong. The Bible does give us instructions in what we should or should not do.

Ephesians 1:7, in Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ loved us so much, He gave himself on the cross, died, and rose from the dead to save us. We must believe and receive this gift of eternal life.

1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 10:9, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

These verses from the word of God tell us how we receive salvation. In order to help us the Lord, Our Savior Jesus Christ when He rose from the dead and was about to go back to His Father He promised to send the Holy Spirit to us as our guide and helper.

John 14: 26, but the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to remembrance all things that I said to you.

The Holy Spirit will help you in your daily life, to understand the Bible, to help you in everything you need help with, teach you the way you should go. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen! Praise The Lord!

Merry Christmas

A Gift Beyond Measure

Isaiah 9:6, For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder, and His name will be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

2 Corinthians 9:15, Thanks be to God for His inexpressible gift!

Praise the Lord! It is the birthday of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

John 3: 16, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

It is the birth of our Lord that is the greatest gift to man. He came to save us from sin and hell, and it is by the grace of Almighty God, and all we have to do is to receive it.

How do we thank our Father Almighty God? Accept His Son Jesus, be kind to one another, love one another, and pray for one another. We cannot work for salvation, but we can follow the teaching of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Thanksgiving for His perfect gift to us.

Do not forget that when we accept salvation, we also receive the Holy Spirit as our guide and helper.  So, open your heart and mind to this greatest event in the history of man.

Luke 1: 14, and you will have joy and gladness, and many Will Rejoice at His birth.

God bless you and all those you love and pray for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 5:6-7, Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.

There are many verses in the Bible that the so-called experts tell us died with the apostles. I for one do not agree. Every verse in the Bible applies today, one way or another, just as it did then.

The verse today is one of those. It has been said by many that it used to be applied to this or that and is now irrelevant. I believe it has more power today than it ever had.

When I became a Christian, I wondered how and in what circumstances could I apply this verse. The truth is I did an experiment with it. I put something small in God’s hands, and what do you suppose happened? What I prayed for happened. Like so many things in the Bible, the truth matches the faith.

Matthew 17:19-20, Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, why could we not cast it out? So, Jesus said to them, because of your unbelief, for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain move from here to there, and it will move; nothing will be impossible for you.

As I called on these verses every day, I began to see that what was best for me always happened. As a result, my faith grew a little more each time. My answer wasn’t always what I wanted or expected, but the fact is God heard my prayer and didn’t let me down. Ever.

Another benefit of all of this, my faith has reached a point where I pray and believe and receive. One thing all Christians must realize is that satan will always try to make you doubt. Don’t fall for that stuff, trust the Lord and His word. As you read His word and meditate on it, your faith will grow and you’ll find that satan has no power over you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 5:8-9, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your Brotherhood in the world.

James 4:7, Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

If everything I have said sounds too simple or too good to be true the answer is, it is simple and it is also very true. Read the word, meditate on the word, and believe the word. Remember God does not think the way we do, and what is in the spiritual world is what our human minds cannot comprehend.

The truth is out there my friends. Like anything else in this world, to get better at anything you must put some effort into it and work at it. The same thing is true with faith. Read the word of the Lord, meditate on it, practice it, and grow in faith. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins and ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Praise The Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

 The Meaning Of Life

Ecclesiastes 1:9, That which has been, is what will be, that which is done, is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. The Book of Ecclesiastes was written by the wisest of men, Solomon. Many people who read this book think that there is so much despair in it, that there’s nothing in life but waiting for death.

This Book contains many things we have experienced in our lives. You may start to wonder if God really is loving and just. He really is if you know Him.

Solomon has in fact told us how to succeed and be happy by revealing his life to us. The Book of Ecclesiastes is a story of success when we analyze his frustrations.

His observations are a guide to our success. If we pay attention and meditate on his words, the Holy Spirit will put the truth in our hearts. As a matter of fact, we should ask the Holy Spirit for help and guidance before we do anything, and He will do it.

Ecclesiastes 9: 2, all things come alike to all: one event happens to the righteous and the wicked; to the good, the clean, and the unclean; to him who sacrifices, and him who does not sacrifice; as is the good so is the sinner; he who takes an oath as he who fears an oath.

To boil it all down, Ecclesiastes tells us that however old you are you can profit by Solomon’s experiences. Since we have zero control over anything it would be wise to pay attention to the one who really is in control, the Lord God Almighty, the creator of the universe and all that is in it.

We find in Ecclesiastes that things in life are generally worthless. Things we work so hard for, disappear either through misfortune or death. The older we get; we should be able to see the worth of what we strive for.

God wants us to enjoy life and to count on Him for everything, one day at a time. We were not created to serve countless gods, only the true God. If we put our God in first place in our hearts and trust Him, He will give us peace, Joy, happiness, and fulfillment.

When we die, our prized possessions will go to someone else. Ask yourself, did I strive so long and hard to accumulate so that someone else who did nothing, receives it all? Here’s a thought. The people who benefit from what you leave may even be corrupted by it.

! Peter 5:6-7, therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you.

It is as simple as that. Put everything in God’s hands, and joy and peace will follow. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

The Greatest Gift

Luke 2:1-7, And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So, all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. Joseph went up From Galilee out of the city of Nazareth, entered Judea to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary his betrothed wife who was with child. So it was that while they were there the days were completed for her to be delivered, and she brought forth her firstborn son and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a Manger because there was no room for them at the inn.

Most of us have heard the story of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Did you know that there are some interesting facts that show the Lord God almighty’s Hand in it?

Yeshua is Jesus Hebrew name, and it means deliverer or savior.

The word Magi is Latin for sorcerers.

The Greek spelling of the word Bethlehem means House of Bread. The bread of God is that which descends from Heaven and gives life to the world. An appropriate birthplace for Jesus who is the bread of life.

The whole point of all this is simple. How can you be grateful and joyful about Jesus birth if you don’t know Him? And why did He come and do what He did? What are we missing out on?

The facts that I showed you in this message point to a very important fact of life. I could tell you He died for our sins. I could tell you about things He did. But the truth is just making a statement is not powerful if you don’t know the context. We have the Bible to explain who God is, what He did what He is doing, and why He is quick to forgive, and why He loves us so much.

The fact of The Lord Jesus Christ’s’ birth is just the beginning. The rest of the story of our salvation is told with the crucifixion. These two are connected, because without both, there would be no salvation for anyone. The joy of the Lord Jesus Christ birth comes from the fact that he is our savior, and He came to save us because we could not save ourselves.

Some other facts that you might find interesting and encouraging are also listed in the Bible. For instance, He is always with us. When He rose from the dead and went back to His Father, He sent the Holy Spirit to help us in our journey back to Him.

When we read the instruction book for anything and follow those instructions we have success. If you don’t know all the bells and whistles of your car for instance you may be driving it for a couple of years and not even know you could have been doing something that would add pleasure to your driving. It is the same with life on our trip through it. The Bible is our instruction book. If we put our hearts into studying it, and following it, we will accomplish what God intended for us to accomplish from the beginning.

So, this Christmas season we should be joyful no matter what is going on in the world. The Bible tells us soIf we are saved, we are in the world but not of it. You might like to read Psalm 91 for a little extra encouragement.

It all started with the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The greatest gift any of us could receive, and it comes right from God Almighty Himself. So have a joyous Christmas and don’t forget to follow the instructions. God bless you and your family.
