My Time With Jesus Tuesday

You Are Forgiven

1 John 1: 9, if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The other day I was relaxing, and my mind was kind of wandering. I happened to think about somebody I worked with years ago. I think this is a good thing to mention because a lot of people are bothered with the same problem that he had.

This man was divorced, hated his job, and if there was one chance in a million to make a mistake, he found it. We worked nights at the time, and he was having a tough day. Whenever he had a tough day, he would yell at the top of his voice that God hated him, but that's OK because he hated God.

When he said that I got the chills. I tried to tell him that God did love him, but he didn't want to hear about it. His life was so messed up that he lost his job because of several things he really messed up on. I believe that the devil blinded him to the truth just as he blinds people today.

Since then I've run across more people that are convinced that God hates them too. I don't know the particulars of any of these cases, but it is obvious they carry a deep guilt about something.

If anyone has the slightest idea about how much Jesus loves them, they would have a good starting point. Jesus died for our sins. His death forgave past, present, and future sins. It doesn't matter how bad we messed up, how horrible our deeds were, Jesus’ blood covered it all.

Psalm 32: 5, I acknowledge my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.

The only thing we need to know is that His love saved us. If we accept Him and what He did for us. If all the mistakes that are on your conscience are so bad that you hate God, you can have all of them erased. I believe a lot of people who say they hate God, are crying out for help, because they think they are too far gone for forgiveness.

Well, my friends, let me say this. Jesus does not see things the way we do. He looks at us with love in His heart. He sees us as people that were created for Heaven. The truth is, we have to accept what He has done for us.

Remember the story about one lost sheep and how 99 were left in the pasture, while the Good Shepherd went after the lost one? He put that one on His shoulders and brought it back. So, you see, you can never be so lost, that Jesus cannot find you.

Don't waste another day of your life. There's absolutely nothing you can do that is so bad you will not be forgiven. There is one sin that cannot be forgiven,  it is willfully rejecting Jesus and His works. So, forgive yourself, truly repent, accept Jesus as Savior, and spend the rest of your stay on earth with peace and joy, and the love of God.

2 Corinthians 5: 17, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; Behold the new has come.

God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves you.

Prayer of salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I Thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal Savior.  Thank you Lord

Amen!

Praise The Lord!
