My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Seek And You Will Find

Matthew 7: 7-8, Ask it will be given to you, seek, and you will find, knock and it will be open to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

If we look at this verse by itself, we are likely to be disappointed. While it is true, there is more to the story. The Bible is interwoven to tell a story that adds up to answered prayer when you put all of the pieces together.

Jeremiah 29: 13, you will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.

This verse tells us about the heart. Almighty God always looks at the heart, that's why it is so important. The heart shows who we really are. If your heart is not involved with whatever you do, you will probably fail.

John 15: 7, if you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

In order to abide in Christ, you must have a relationship with Him. Surrender your life to Him. Trust Him in all things no matter what. Realize that no person can do anything unless God is involved. And allow Him to work in your life.

Psalm 14: 2, The Lord looks down from Heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.

Hebrews 11: 6 and without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.

When you put all of these together, it is a good start. The word of God is the whole truth, and is therefore a guide to salvation. Remember, faith is not a feeling or emotion. Faith is a relationship with our creator.

Hebrews 11: 1, now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior.

Amen!

Praise The Lord!
