A Job to Do

It Is Written, Proverbs 5:21, for the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He ponders all his paths.
Anyone who has read the Bible, or listened to a preacher, has become familiar with the parable of the talents. Three servants were given different amounts to work with, and their master expected a return from each.  As the story goes, the one with one talent buried it because of fear, and had no return.
Most of us do not realize that our walk with Jesus is pretty much like this parable. Each of us is given a task based on what is expected of us. Everyone is not given the same amount to work with, but each is expected to produce a return.
God gives each person a job or jobs to do in life. I believe He gives those jobs, based on what He expects from each person individually. In other words, how well we will use what He gives us.
When God gives the jobs to us, He holds all of us in the same level of love and importance.  We must realize we are just as loved in a lower job as someone in the so-called higher job.
If God wanted us to do a different job, H e would make it happen. The reward in Heaven is given by how well we do what God tells us to do.
Remember this important point. If you do your best each day, and do it as the Holy Spirit guides you, by circumstances and opportunities, you will do well. If the servant with one talent had done anything with it, instead of burying it, no matter what the results, his master would be happy with him for doing his best.
If we give God our best, He will give us His best. May God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
