God's Promises Sunday

Each Day

Romans 8:28, and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God to those who are called according to His purpose.

In our modern world, most people are so stressed out, they become ill looking for a way out. What causes stress? What it all boils down to is, each of us causes our own stress. Before you write me off as a nut, read on.

I think that most people would agree that we live in a world gone mad. Common sense and what we used to call fair play or truth, no longer exists. Most people, probably 80% or so, consider only themselves and what they think or do.

In light of all of this, how can anyone think or plan even the rest of this day, let alone tomorrow. The number of variables make your head spin. There is after all no logic to anything. It then stands to reason that stress is related to the number of decisions we make, and how far into the future we make them.

The Bible says that God wants us to depend on Him one day at a time. As part of this, God has a custom plan for each of us and for our good. When we go to God, He knows everything, and He can make all the pieces come together. We can’t do that. Fortunately for us though, His plan is better than anything we can come up with.

By now you can probably see that the more decisions you make, the more liable you are to create stress for yourself, because you cannot see all the things that are working against you. If you get to know who God really is, you will begin to trust Him, and start leaving your plans in His hands so that He can guide you.

Psalm 50:15, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

 Remember Jesus loves you.

 Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins and come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen.

Praise The Lord!
