The Bible tells us that we were created in God's image. Since God is a spirit, we therefore must be spirits too.
Many, including myself, looked at that fact in a way that made that spirit like another person. When we prayed, we tried very hard to convince our brains to believe. We struggled with trying to find God's plan for our lives, and many other things.
One morning, while I was having private time with the Lord, I had what was to me, a profound revelation, and answered all of the questions. A voice in my heart told me that I am the spirit. In my person, right now. God is in me, and I am in Him, right now.
Being a spirit with God, means that I say and do what God says. The brain and body are servants of me the spirit, who passes on God's instructions when I pray in Jesus name. Whenever I use the name of Jesus it is done, just as Jesus himself did, because He was one with the Father. That put a whole new light on everything.
All true believers are spirits, that are one with God. Instead of praying for healing, and hoping the Holy Spirit will do it, we have a knowing that what we pronounce in Jesus name, is done because the Holy Spirit, speaks through us.
The realization that we are spirits, and are one with God who is Spirit, we can live minute by minute, trusting God loves us. Because we trust in His love, we have no reason to fear anything, including tomorrow. We must trust Him only, not ourselves or anyone else. 2 Corinthians 5:7 tells us for we walk by faith, not by sight. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
