My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Looking Ahead

Proverbs 16:9, The heart of a man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Here we are at the beginning of a new year. For many people it is time to start the age-old ritual of New Year’s resolutions.

Resolutions for most people means repeating the same ones they had last year that failed. Generally, resolutions are repetitive and doomed to failure. Is there a way to be successful? Yes!

Matthew 6: 33, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

A good place to start is to take an honest look at where you were, and where you are now. Are you better off, or worse? Since all things come from God, where are you spiritually? Is He a real part of your life?

List your disappointments in life. Go over that list and check what you would like to change. Remember that change begins spiritually. It is not about what you can do, it is all about what God can do.

Jeremiah 29: 11, for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and hope.

Call on Almighty God, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Commit your life to Him and turn everything over to Him. Do your best and He will do the rest.

Romans 15: 13, May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace and believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in Hope.

It is not very complicated to turn your life around if you aren’t happy with it the way it is. All you must do is live your life according to the will of God and you will be successful. There may be bumps along the road, but He will make sure that you can handle them.

We Wish You a New Year filled with the blessings and Grace of Almighty God. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away all my sins. Your death and resurrection made my Salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!

Praise The Lord!
