My Time With Jesus Tuesday

What God Expects

Luke 12:47-48, and that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

At some point in life many people wonder why other people have so much, and some have little or nothing. Only Almighty God can answer that. We must realize though that Almighty God has a reason for everything He does. Most times He is trying to teach us something for our good.

Matthew 25: 40- 45, and the King will answer and say to them, assuredly, I say to you, and as much as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me. Then he will answer them, saying, assuredly, I say to you, in as much as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.

If you want to read the entire story of these two verses, you will find it in Matthew chapter 25 verses 33 through 45. The Lord Our Savior takes the idea of giving personally, because it shows our Lord our love and compassion for others, as well as Praising Him for His love and compassion toward us.

Proverbs 11: 24-25, there is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.

Many of us have experienced what these Proverbs tell us. How many times has something happened to our money at the worst possible time, and how about the times we receive something good that we didn’t expect.

Every one of us is blessed with something. It is our duty to share something with others. Our sharing could be for instance our time, our physical energy, our knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and so on. Even the act of helping someone in need of any kind is very big in the eyes of the Lord.

Matthew 25: 29, for everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.

What all these Proverbs and verses have been trying to tell us is that the harder you try with greed and fear to hang on to what you have, you will lose it, but as you give you will never be without. All these things are between you and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With a loving heart, do for others what God does for you. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves You.

Prayer Of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!

Praise The Lord!
