The truth
Proverbs 3:13, happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding.
Many people think they know the Lord Jesus Christ because they saw a couple of movies. What they don’t really understand is, many scenes and conversations are pure Hollywood and made up. If you want to know the real lord Jesus it takes some work.
Movies do not give you the real person, and why he does or says anything. The Bible on the other hand tells you the facts. For instance. No movie will tell you how to be saved. Many churches won't tell you either. The Bible makes salvation known to anyone who cares to find out.
When the Lord Jesus Christ spoke in Parables to people, he associated his story with things that people already knew about and the culture. It isn’t always clear until you really meditate on it and do some studying. Again, this is something most churches do not get into.
In movies you saw, I can think of only one time that Jesus smiled. I’m sure he smiled a lot of the time and didn’t look so somber and Stern. When Jesus spoke to Children, or people that believed in him I’m sure he did plenty of smiling. He was a real person just like us. He knew everything about how we saw things, the temptations we faced, and the exhaustion we felt, because for a while, he was like us.
Not too long ago I started explaining things and that many people probably never even heard about. With the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we will take a journey at times to find these hidden gems that will help you understand who the Lord Jesus Christ really is and what’s he wants through his word.
My friends, I found out a long time ago that spending an hour a day with the Lord rather than watching TV made my life so much better because I really got to learn more about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Please consider giving a part of your day to get to really know the joys of your salvation. God bless you and your family.
Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer Of Salvation.
My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and Resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!
Praise The Lord!
