The Greatest Evil
Isaiah 5:20, woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
Though written before the time of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it is a perfect description of our times. Everything seems to be the opposite of what it really is. It seems everyone has their own version of truth, and most people do not see evil. How did all of this evil begin? The truth is, since the beginning of man on Earth.
Ephesians 6:12, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly places.
Evil has a name; it is called politics. Do not think it is just Republicans and Democrats. satan is the father of evil, and almighty God the father of good. It really is spiritual, and worldwide. In case you aren’t sure about the definition of evil, it is profoundly immoral and wicked behavior.
People look for a leader that will stop evil and bring harmony to our country and the world. I guess that’s what they thought at the beginning of the tribulation. Evil goes so deep and is so extreme, no man can fix it.
Romans 12:19, beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.
Since we are dealing with a spiritual battle, we must realize it is a heart thing. Only God Almighty can change Hearts. Is there anything we can do?
2 Chronicles 7:14, If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Whether you agree or not, each day is one day closer to Eternity. No matter what your version of Truth, the fact is it applies to each of us. Take heed, we will not know the day of judgment until it happens. At that point, it is too late. The time to get right with the Lord is now.
Romans 10: 9- 10, if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. And verse 13, for whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen! Praise The Lord!
