God's Promises Sunday

A spirit

Genesis 1: 27, so God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him, male and female He created them.

A number of years ago, I took this verse to mean that since God is a Spirit, and I am created in His image, I must be a spirit too. I really got excited about that idea. I really didn’t know what that meant at that time though.

One day I was watching a well-known preacher at the time. He said we are all body, soul, and spirit. After listening for a couple of hours of teaching, I not only had confirmation of what I thought, but much more.

James 4:7, Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Mark 16:17-18, And these signs will follow those who believe in My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents, and they drink anything deadly it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.

Let’s take a quick look at something that can Inspire us. This may sound a little strange, but it is true, as I believe.

Everything happens in the spirit world. When we pray in the spirit, by asking the Holy Spirit to help us pray, we call down into the natural world what we are prompted to pray for.

At that point we as Spirits, working with the Holy Spirit, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, can do anything that Almighty God wills us to do. Nothing is impossible.

1 John 5: 4-6, you are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore, they speak as of the World, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; and he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

God Bless you and your Family.  Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!

Praise The Lord
