The Big Question
Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in Heaven.
Being saved is a heart thing. Knowing God exists is not enough. Even satan knows God exists.
When you read the verse in Matthew 7:21, does it make you wonder where you stand with almighty God? If you haven’t figured it out yet, now would be a good time, because no one knows when the end is coming.
Galatians 5: 22-23, and the fruits of the spirit is love, Joy, piece, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
When we are saved, we not only receive the Lord as our savior, but we also receive the Holy Spirit, and what are called the fruits of the spirit. These fruits give us an example of how a Believer should act. Salvation changes us. We must examine ourselves to determine if we are indeed changed in our hearts. Galatian 5:22-23 are the fruits.
If you are still living the old sinful life, you really must examine if you really are saved. You must realize that the Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again to save us.
2 Corinthians 5:17, therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; all things have passed away, all things have become new.
Ephesians 2:10, for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
There are many people who call themselves Christians who do not live as Christians. You cannot have a new life in Jesus Christ, if you follow satan and the world. Salvation is a gift to all, but many people choose to reject it. It could be on purpose, or by ignorance.
The last three verses give you an example and guidance in how we should live. Put your life in the care and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Talk to Him and ask for His help to find the way.
Sometimes it isn’t easy to trust God’s word completely but do it anyway. Nothing is as important as your Immortal soul. If you talk to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, you will be guided to the right path. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away all my sins. Your death and Resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!
Praise The Lord!
