My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Jesus Loves Sinners

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The Lord Jesus Christ came on a rescue mission because we could not save ourselves. The big question has been, why did He do it?

Let’s go back to the beginning. We were created to love and serve the Lord, our Heavenly Father. We were created as His children, so when Adam and Eve sinned, we became separated from our Heavenly Father.

1 Corinthians 15:22, For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

When people populated the earth, they were totally ignorant of sin, because there was nothing to tell them what to do or not to do. They made up deities in order to explain many things in their lives. They made up rules and regulations to live by if possible. As time went on, it got more and more chaotic. getting farther and farther from God.

At that point God sent prophets to teach the people and to warn them that they were not doing anything according to God’s plan. The religions at the time didn’t make things any better. God was losing His children.

They couldn’t wash away their sins no matter what they did. Some of them didn’t even realize they were sinning. They had no clue as how to obey God, and what the outcome would be. Enter the Lord Jesus Christ born like a man, subject to all man’s problems and temptations, but still God.

The Lord Jesus Christ lived with and taught sinners about God, showing them by example how to live. Since they had free will, Jesus was the only way they could be forgiven and receive salvation, but they had to choose it. Jesus knew what He would have to do, and what it would cost Him. He understood that His Fathers plan for their redemption was the only answer. Since Jesus was without sin, He had to take on everyone’s sin in order to give them eternal life. They had to accept it though.

Ephesians 2:8-9, For by Grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest anyone should boast.

It broke Jesus’ heart when they rejected Him because they were actually condemning themselves.

The Lord Jesus knew exactly how life affected these people, because temporarily, He was one of them. Don’t forget these people were brought up following the law, so it was very hard for most of them to give up the old ways. They had to trust someone they really didn’t know after spending their lives with deceivers.

Romans 5:8, God demonstrates His own love for us in this; while we were still Sinners, Christ died for us.

When you are saved, you want all of those that you love to be saved too. You know what will happen to someone who rejects Jesus, and it breaks your heart. We can’t possibly know how much more Jesus felt when one of His Father’s children chose not to be saved.

I believe it’s for this reason that forgiveness applies to even the world’s worst sinners. There is no sin or amount of sin or kind of sin that Jesus’ blood cannot wash away. Anyone who repents and accepts Jesus Christ as his savior and what he did, will be saved. It is a promise of God. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

God's Promises Sunday

Priceless Prayer

Romans 8:26-27, Likewise the spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Have you ever considered the value of Prayer besides the obvious power connected with it? If you stop and think about it,  prayer is the answer to everything. Intercessory prayer is one of the most powerful because it is praying for others.

Job 42:10, And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed, the lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

The whole Bible, especially the New Testament contains hundreds of verses about the promises of God when you pray.

Mark 11:24, Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

After I found the Lord, whenever I was driving and an ambulance passed by, I said Lord please help whoever it is. I said it because I believed it.

One day A couple of years ago, when I finished my quick little prayer for someone, a message came to my heart like a lightning bolt. It is something I will never forget. I believe the Lord said to me “I take care of issues like this according to My will; your job is to pray for their salvation.”

When I got home, I was still emotional and thinking about the message. The reality is, physical healing can only add a number of years, while salvation accomplishes eternity. If that isn’t Priceless, I don’t know what is.

I believe that if we ask our spirits in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to go to someone’s spirit to open their hearts and minds to the Lord Jesus Christ, it will happen. And the Holy Spirit at that point can take over and bring them the rest of the way. I believe in it so much that I even prayed for a person who was in a coma that way.

Philippians 4: 13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Remember these facts about prayer.

Prayers are always answered in God’s timing.

Prayers are not always answered the way we want.

Prayers are always answered for our good.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins, and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

Can You Sell Your Soul To The Devil

Matthew 16:26, For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

When some people see a super successful person, they tend to get a little jealous, so they probably say something like, they are so successful because they sold their soul to the devil. Is that possible? Have you ever thought about that?

If you are referring to a sit-down meeting with satan, and working out excuses for what you are doing,  so it seems good to you. He wants his followers to do his bidding with gusto. The best way he does this is to deceive them.

satan has a way of turning something evil into a pleasurable experience for the evildoer. By doing so his followers need more evil and greater evil in order to achieve the same satisfaction. Kind of like a drug.

The sad part is People don’t realize that when they lust after money, power, things in general, they are in great danger of losing their soul. satan does things like bribing you with excuses so you can keep doing what you shouldn’t be doing, in order to keep doing his bidding, and to keep your mind from drifting toward God.

There are so many evil doors covering each other, there’s hardly any prosecution for crimes so, the evil spreads farther and grows in intensity. Some people commit so much evil, for so long, they end up with what is called a seared conscience, that keeps them from recognizing sin as Sin. They become what they used to call reprobate, or Beyond Redemption.

Romans 1: 28, and since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.

The Bible has many stories of demon possession. When you are a constant sinner and reject the Lord Jesus Christ, the devil has a strong claim on your soul. He cannot take it if it belongs to God. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior and send a message to satan. As you can see from these few examples and believe me it would take up an entire book to name the many ways to sell your soul to the devil.

Realize that whatever you think about the most becomes a replacement for the true God and puts you as a target for satan. I do not tell you any of this for fun. Let this be a warning of how deceitful things of the world can be.

When you do what you ought not to do especially if you do it knowing you shouldn’t do it, you are in effect turning your soul over to satan, until you realize the position you are in from falling for his deceitful thoughts that seemed good at the time.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Conscience As A Guide

Romans 2:15, they show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them.

In a recent message I mentioned the fact that the Spirit of Almighty God is in constant contact with your spirit. Your conscience is part of your spirit.

When people say that God talks to them, and tells them something, they are referring to their heart or conscience giving them a message. God rarely talks to anyone in an audible voice, so many people do not believe He talks at all.

If your conscience is telling you something, pray about the validity of the message and if it lines up with God’s word. When you are sure it is from God, follow through with it.

The heart and conscience are extremely important in other ways. One example is a feeling of Love or gratitude to God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. Human words cannot express how we really feel toward God. Since the spirit of God is in constant contact with your spirit, why not ask your spirit in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to tell God’s spirit how you really feel about love and gratitude toward Him.

1 Timothy 1: 19, having Faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck.

With your spirit in constant contact with the Spirit of God, you can carry on a conversation with God. Your heart speaks and listens to the heart of God. You can pour your heart out to God telling Him how you feel about everything just as you would your best friend, and He will give you the answers that you need. They may not be exactly what you wanted, but they are right for you. Don’t waste another minute start doing it.

Isaiah 30:21, And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, this is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

Some people say they don’t know who to pray to, God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. My friends the best thing to do is realize that praying to God, is the right way to go because all three, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one God. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

God's Promises Sunday

Why We Don’t Hear God

2 Peter 1:20-21, Knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God’s spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

It is a fact that God tries in many ways to communicate with us each day. Did you know for instance that God’s spirit is always in touch with our spirit? God also speaks to our conscience. Most people either don’t believe in God, or they believe in His existence but don’t know Him.

James 1:2, My brethren count it all joy when you fall into various trials.

God allows us to make our own choices. In allowing us to decide, He also allows the consequence. Mistakes and consequences are good teachers. Unfortunately, it is common to blame God when something goes wrong, so people don’t learn from their experience.

Then you have those who don’t believe God speaks. You probably heard someone say that God never spoke to them. With that mindset, they never will because they don’t listen.

You will never hear God’s voice in your heart if you are caught up in things of the world. Much of what you see and hear from the media, our government, and society’s values, are satan talking to his followers. He may even use your best friends.

James 4:8, Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your heart, you double minded.

If we want to hear God’s voice, we must focus on Him, by reading His word, and talking to Him, and the big point is to listen. Ignore what Society thinks and use your own mind. The crowd is usually wrong.

Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Look for His presence all day long. If you look and listen with a sincere heart you will see Him in your life. As you practice listening to the voice of the Lord, and looking for His presence in your daily life, you will gradually grow into a person who sees and understands. If at first, you’re not convinced that you will ever hear God’s voice, believe it anyway. You will never regret it. Remember, God talks to all who listen. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

God’s Will Is The Safest Place To Be

1 Peter 2:15, For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men. Most human beings want to oversee their own lives, this is a human trait, and along with that control, comes unintended consequences.

There are only two possible ways for us to follow in this life. First, we must recognize that each of us is caught up in a battle between good and evil. We will go toward one or the other. One way is good led by God, the other is evil led by satan. Let’s see some facts about each.

Proverbs 16:9, a man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

God loves you. He sent His only Son to suffer and die for us. He knew we could not pay our own sin debt, so the Lord Jesus Christ did for us.

God is always with us, to help us in everything we do. He knows what we face, and He speaks to our hearts constantly. If we are smart, we listen for that voice. The other way He speaks to us is through the Bible. The Bible is an instruction book that will give us a very good life, and Eternity in Heaven. More on this in future messages.

Jeremiah 29: 11, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and Hope.

satan wants everyone to spend eternity in hell. satan knows every word in the Bible, and he will twist what the Bible says so that those who don’t know it will perish. He constantly whispers to your heart that there is no evil, just pleasure in following him.

Remember this. denying evil exists is foolish. If something goes against God’s word, it is evil. Our creator wanted everyone to be with Him since before creation even happened. satan deceived Adam and Eve and that caused all the evil ever since.

A person’s conscience can become seared so that he cannot separate good from evil and as far as he’s concerned evil is good.

God has a plan for each of us. Sometimes He allows us to mess up for us to see the truth. God’s way is the best way. God even puts desires in our hearts that are better than what we come up with. He is constantly looking out for our welfare, and it grieves Him when we do not pay attention.

1 John 2:17, And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

As the old saying goes, there’s no such thing as a free lunch. In effect what satan is doing is trying to make it look like a free lunch when you do evil or anything strictly for pleasure regardless of the outcome for someone else. The price to pay is eternity, and you will find no one pays for you but you. Pretty steep price. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

God’s Presence In Your Life

Psalm 16:11, you will show me the path of Life; in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

People who are Christians in their hearts, have the greatest gifts that men can have. The Lord Jesus Christ came to save us. At the crucifixion, the scourging, or as Isaiah 52 and 53 tells us, by His stripes we are healed. His blood washed away all our sins, past, present, future.

Because the Lord Jesus Christ conquered death by rising from the dead, we too will conquer death through Jesus (Eternal death) and Jesus’s presence in our lives.

Jeremiah 29: 13, And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Psalm 145:18, The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

All the verses in this message are just a hint of what we can expect from Almighty God, The Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. These are not just words; they are promises from God.

If you ever truly experienced the presence of God, I dare say there was never such a life-changing incident for good in your entire life. The problem is you can’t seem to get enough.

Hebrews 13:5, Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For he himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

John 14:26, but the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name; He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

You might be thinking that all of this is for someone else not for you. Guess what, you would be wrong. The only requirement for getting all of this is to receive it. Father God intended for all His children to be saved and receive all His Blessings.

Some people are not saved yet, because they think Christianity is like some religion they left. It isn’t. When you are saved and have the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart you are a target for His Blessing. If you have any problem and are a believer, a simple God help me, or Lord what should I do, sets the power of Heaven into action.

Psalm 91:15-16, He shall call upon me, and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him, with a long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.
