Time For Miracles
Jude 1:22, Have mercy on those who doubt.
The Bible tells us about miracles in both the Old and the New Testament. In the Old Testament almighty God used miracles in certain circumstances that required them. A classic example would be the Exodus.
In the New Testament the Lord Jesus Christ used miracles to show His divinity to a people that required it. A good example would be when He fed the crowd with the loaves and fish.
If you really study what Jesus did, you’ll see that the people who received a miracle were in desperate times in their lives. Only a miracle could help them.
Something you will not find, is Jesus working miracles for His earthly self. He let Life play out as it is written, and used circumstances, but never changed the outcome of anything.
Even though the Lord Jesus gave His Apostles authority to perform miracles they could only do as they were directed by the Spirit of God.
In these times we pray for a miracle, but we have to wait because almighty God, like the Lord Jesus, prefers to work things out by natural means. By doing things that way many people are blessed because they were a part of our answer.
Miracles happen every day all over the world. They are usually in an instant, in a particularly bad or dangerous situation. The problem is that many people don’t say anything because they think everyone will laugh and ridicule them.
Another problem is that the world media is basically anti-God and censors’ good news but glorifies bad news. Sometimes if not most times they lie by making up stories people want to hear.
Another reason it seems to take forever for prayer to be answered is because it is generally a test of faith. Think about it, anybody can believe when everything is right in their minds, but it takes much more to believe when things don’t look like they’re working out.
Hebrews 11:6, but without faith it is impossible to please Him for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Romans 10:17, so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins and ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
