Philippians 4:6, Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with Thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
As long as man has been on Earth, the question of how to pray and get answers has always come up. First, let us look at the definition of prayer. It is simply communication with God and listening to Him. You pour out your heart as a child to a loving father.
Prayer Is accomplished in private or in a group. It can be spoken with your mouth or in your heart. You are encouraged to use your own words at times you choose. God is only interested in your heart, as simple as that may be.
Mark 11:24, Therefore I tell you, everything you pray and ask for believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
John 15:7, If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you.
A little hint. The closer you get to God, the closer He gets to you. As you grow in faith, your prayer results grow. Prayers for others are very powerful so you may want to take that into consideration when you pray.
Another thing people do, they write a formal request to God for what they need or want. They read it every day until they receive what their request is. This is an idea of what praying constantly means.
There are no magic words to get your answers. However, using the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and reminding Him of His promises is very productive. When you call on the power of the Holy Spirit along with the name of Lord Jesus Christ, you will know in your heart that your answer is coming.
Not everyone is smooth in thought or words. If that is you, stop worrying and start praying. Call on the Holy Spirit to take what is in your heart and present it as a perfect prayer to almighty God. The Holy Spirit uses your words, for what you want, and adjusts everything, words language the whole works. And that way you have a perfect prayer to a perfect God.
Some reminders about prayer. God is not likely to come up with a new Maserati, or a 20-room house. He can, but he likely won’t. Praying according to God’s will with a sincere heart is usually what is the most successful.
Answers are not always yes, because God knows the effects of His answer. He knows what’s best. We also do not know God’s perfect timing. The answer may be yes but not yet.
There is another result I have experienced several times. Our Father many times gives us more and better than we ask. It may be hard to believe but it is not uncommon. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Proverbs 3: 5-6, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your paths straight.
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins, and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
