Let God Do It

1 Peter 5:7, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.

As we go through life, we are bombarded by problems and all kinds of information. We sort through this stuff in our minds and make reactive decisions about whether it’s junk or good information.

Ask any successful businessperson and they will tell you not to make decisions that are emotional, or decisions based on bad information. Get the real facts and make your decision based on how they apply in your business or life.

Would you be surprised if I told you that as much as 80% to 90% of the population, makes bad decisions most of the time? Most of this can be explained by just a few examples. When choices are made by reaction to something, emotion, haste, no facts and the like, they are set up for failure.

Since this is true in most cases, is there any hope of reversing these numbers? Believe It or not, there is a way available to anyone who is serious. The book of total truth tells us how. In case you’re wondering, I’m talking about the Bible.

Philippians 4:6-7, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

If you are a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, these verses tell you how to turn your life around. I mentioned being a follower of Jesus, because it requires total trust and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 3: 5-6, trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

If you read all of these verses and meditate on them for as long as it takes, and as many times as it takes, you will change your life.

When you start your day giving the day and everything in it to the Lord in prayer, with Thanksgiving, then go about your day with a sincere thank you Lord Jesus occasionally, you will witness dramatic results. Praising the Lord every now and then for what he has done for you and continues to do for you, including salvation, seems appropriate. When you trust in the Lord and stay out of His way He can work in your life. When you try to do it your way, He just steps back and lets your Folly happen. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins, and I repent those sins and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Mercy Without Limit

Matthew 5:7, Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain Mercy.

As I sat thinking about, and talking to Jesus, I had a sudden reminder of our Father God’s love and mercy. We should stop and think of the history of man.

Before there was anything, God planned and foresaw everything that made up His plan. It was not a surprise to Him how things would turn out with His creation.

Ephesians 2 :8-9, for by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Matthew 9:13, but go and learn what this means; I desire mercy and not sacrifice. For I did not come to call the righteous but Sinners, to repentance.

God saw that man’s sins were going to be at such a level that man could not redeem himself. It would require the suffering, death, and resurrection of His only Son, who was totally sinless. The Lord Jesus Christ came to die and pay for all of our sins, past, present, and future.

God also knew that even though Jesus would lead a sinless life and perform many miracles, He would be hated for no reason for centuries to come.

Just for a moment put yourself in the situation the Lord Jesus was in. Jesus preached salvation every day to many people who did not and would not believe in Him.

Jesus healed many people. As He was doing His miracles and healings, He knew that most would not thank Him, as a matter of fact some of these people would be among those who would reject Him and scream for His blood. He loved and forgave them anyway. God saw the entire history of man. The evil you see all around you, is what He died to forgive. In John 3:16, we see that God in His Mercy didn’t want anyone to perish but to have eternal life.

You and I are among the Sinners Jesus came to die for. Let me ask you this question. Would you forgive someone who deliberately did something to hurt you. This person was a recipient of a kind act that you did for him that cost you something, and he spit in your face, and accused you of being the bad guy and worse. I think if we were completely honest about that question we would be unhappy with the answer we came up with.

The only thing Jesus wants from you, is you. Just repent and ask Him to be your savior. We are repenting of our sins in order for us to acknowledge that we are sinners, and that is why Jesus had to go to the cross. Many of us are convinced we are not sinners, but the answer is we are.

Hebrews 4: 16, let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find Grace to help in time of need.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins, and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

God's Promises Sunday

The Problem With Faith, In Jesus Name

John 15:7, If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what your desire, and it shall be done for you.

When you become a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ through salvation, you want to know more about Him. You want to serve Him, but you don’t know how.

When you read the Word of God, you begin to get an idea of who He is, and how the Lord Jesus moves in your life every day. When you get to the point where you start to really believe His words, you will probably experiment with prayer in a small way. You pray and hope. That is a part of learning and growing.

Romans 5: 8, but God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

At some point you will realize that your faith must be in Jesus. When you ask in Jesus’ name, you put all your trust in Jesus to fulfill His word, and then you get out of the way. Trust Jesus and start thanking Him for the results. You may be tempted to think about your prayer and not realize that you are running the risk of an unanswered prayer.

With persistence in the word, you will know that the Lord Jesus Christ loves you, has mercy on you, forgives your sins, and He is always with you. The only problem is you don’t know at what level. It is beyond our imagination.

Hebrews 4:16,  let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find Grace to help in time of need.

Then one day as you are talking to God, your heart feels like it is going to explode. You start to sob uncontrollably. And my friends you feel the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. A feeling of peace that you never felt before and could not imagine comes over you. You know your savior.

Your heart knows without doubt the word of God is true. Everything you asked Jesus is without a doubt in your mind. You now start to understand who Jesus is, what He does, and His relationship to you.

We will attempt in the coming messages, by the grace of God, and through the Holy Spirit, to help as many as are led by the Holy Spirit to find Jesus.

The Other Place

Revelation 21:7-8,  he who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son. But the Cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderer’s, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. Which is the second death.

When you read the book of Revelation, you see who is condemned to hell and why. The Book of Revelation is a warning to evildoers and hope for those who see the truth.

Obviously, we do not have the true description of hell because there are no eyewitnesses. We can put certain facts together from the Word of God, to get an idea of some of what it is like.

2 Peter 2:4,  for if God did not spare the Angels who sinned, but cast them down to Hell and delivered them to chains of darkness to be reserved for judgment.

Since God is not present, hell is such an intense darkness, it is impossible to start to describe. Those who end up there have spiritual bodies too. They will live forever.

Besides the incredible darkness, it is silent beyond comprehension. Everything they feel is magnified beyond measure, with no end in sight. You would probably feel a hundred or more demons ripping your flesh off. Because a spiritual body cannot be destroyed, the excruciating pain goes on, but the body is intact.

Revaluation 20:15, Anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.

Our lord Jesus Christ through His incredible love for us, allows us to get our names in The Book of Life. It is a free gift, salvation, but it requires repenting of our sins, accepting and knowing what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us, with all our hearts,

and we will be saved. Repenting means turning your ways around and follow Jesus. You cannot lose true salvation if you were sincere to begin with and follow the lord Jesus Christ.

These messages were not intended to scare anyone. They are intended to show us the situation that we have to make a choice about. It is a fact that I cannot back up everything the message contains, but if you read the Word of God you can see a lot of different things that if you put the facts together the picture would come out somewhat like described here.

Revelation is a book that can scare the heck out of you and show a terrible future for eternity, but at the same time it shows that we have a choice, and that Jesus loves us so much that He died for us.

John 3:16, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Now would be a good time to make the right decision, because no one knows when time will run out and the choice will be made for you, because you waited too long, and missed the free gift of eternal life.

Thank you Lord Jesus!!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

A Vision Of Heaven

Psalm 27:1, The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall, I Fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Many people have tried to describe what Heaven is like. The best they could do is come up with some descriptions that match some of what we see in our daily lives to use as a reference point. Obviously, everything is conjecture.

We can assume Heaven is a place of unlimited peace and love. When a person gets there, he is more than likely overwhelmed by the beauty of the place. The light is our Lord Jesus Christ. If we didn’t have transformed bodies, I imagine we could not live the blink of an eye in time. I suspect that as in sunlight, only more so with the Lord as light, colors are indescribable. Colors we never saw, and in unbelievable intensity of color.

Because the light source is our Lord Jesus Christ, everything would be alive and reflecting His glory. Everywhere you would look, you would see beauty, love, and peace. Yes, I imagine you can see and feel God’s glory in everything!

Because everything would be pure. I believe we’re able to experience all this, because we are righteous through the work of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in the family of God almighty because of His grace and love.

Think about this. By the grace of almighty God, our hearts, minds, and eyes were opened to our Lord Jesus Christ. Even though we do not understand or appreciate the full extent of all that Jesus did for us, He still loves us.

Even though we cannot love and praise Him as He deserves until we get to see Him in eternity, once again he still loves us. When we repent, ask Jesus to come into our hearts as our savior, we are acknowledging what He did for us.

The only sensible thing I could say about Heaven at this point since no one has ever been there and returned to tell us about it, it is beyond human description. Even if we went there and came back, I don’t think we’d be able to describe everything we saw and felt.

The only thing I can suggest at this point, is to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior, repent, tell Him you know  He suffered and died and rose again to wash away all of your sins and to give you the gift of salvation. In doing this you will someday discover what Heaven is like in person. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

God's Promises Sunday

Then And Now

Ephesians 2:8-9, For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

When Jesus was on this Earth, it was a totally different situation. People at that time knew about God, only through the religious leaders. Then as now, the truth was limited by personal interests.

The people saw Jesus as the son of a carpenter. The religious leaders of the day told everyone that Jesus was doing the works of satan. The question was, what should they believe? On one hand they heard what Jesus said and saw what He did. At the same time religious leaders tried to convince everyone that Jesus was evil.

Romans 10:9, If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

I tried to figure out what I would have believed if I lived then. Think about that. What would you believe? They were in a tough spot spiritually. If they followed Jesus, they would be persecuted and condemned by the religious leaders as well as fellow citizens.

Today we have the benefit of reading the Word of God as inspired by the Holy Spirit. The people who lived with Jesus and witnessed everything that the Holy Spirit helped them remember. What they saw and wrote was only the truth.

What an advantage we have today. We know the truth. The big question today however is, do we believe? Will our pride and superior education allow us to accept the truth? Do we understand what is at stake?

Matthew 7:21,  not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in Heaven.

To put it in a simple way, what this verse is telling us is if you really analyze it based on other parts that you read in the word, faith and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ is a heart thing. If you don’t live the way a Christian should live, you must ask yourself if you really are a Christian. Knowing Jesus and believing in Him, is a lot different than knowing about Him. Just knowing about Him, does you no good.

You have more than likely heard descriptions of Heaven and hell. These descriptions are usually in the form we understand, such as streets paved with gold.

In the next two messages I will tell of Heaven, and hell. These messages are based on what I feel I was inspired to say. No one escapes eternity, the question is where will you be?

God bless you and your family.  Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins, and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

Knowing Jesus

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

This verse is mentioned more often than any other. I will go so far as to say, many who mentioned John 3:16 don’t even know what it says. They heard somebody else say it or they saw a sign at  a football game so they adopted it.

Ask yourself this question. How can Jesus who is one of the most recognized names in history be so loved and so hated by so many.

One of the biggest reasons for that is, so many people don’t really know Him. We are a world full of people that rely on Google, Facebook, and TikTok to tell us what to think about anything and everything.

John 1: 14, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His, glory as of the only begotten Son of the Father full of grace and truth.

Most people don’t realize how high the stakes are. We tend to have a herd mentality. If the leader jumps off the cliff, the rest of the herd will blindly follow.

Do not believe this theory about everyone goes to Heaven or there is no hell. Think about this. Even the person who does not know Jesus will figure out that Justice would refute that idea.

I realize that the Bible intimidates many people. Here is a suggestion. Go online and search for the free online Bible new King James Version. Go to the New Testament and look at the Gospel of John. He lived with Jesus and documented everything he saw. It’s an easy read. The thing is you must really think about it.

In the next couple of messages, we will try to make possible outcomes of following Jesus, or following satan, clear and easy so the decision you make is yours not someone else’s.

Romans 5:8, But God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
