Self-Acceptance

Genesis 1: 27, God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; Male and female He created them.

At this present time, society has confused many people about who they are. Self- acceptance is a real problem. Most people are not sure who they are. Why is that?

Let’s start with cell phones. People have accepted cell phones as a way of identifying themselves, but they failed. Because of cell phones there is plenty of talking between people, but hardly any relationships. So, it becomes difficult when you're not interacting with live people in a personal way.

Everybody is trying to be like everybody else. There is a thing that is called peer pressure. I know I am old, but at one time I was young. We never experienced peer pressure, probably because we had plenty of personal relationships, and had some common sense. No one confused anyone else about who they were or what they should be.

Today many people are not even sure about what sex they are, so they try to artificially change it hoping that they have the right answer. There is plenty of information out there that is wrong and meant to confuse people or put them in a situation where they can somehow benefit from someone else's misfortune.

With all this high-tech stuff going on, we have lost something very important that existed when I was young. It was not only relationships with people of my age, but the most important thing was, we had close family ties and believed in God.

You can never be someone else no matter how hard you try. God made each of us as an individual, and there is none other on this earth that is exactly like you. If that is the case, and it is, that means that you cannot be like them, and they will never be you.

God created us to be who we are. Our looks, talent, and so on. He did it because he had a special plan for each of us. We don't have to know why we are or who we are, we just have to trust.

 When we are unhappy with our lot in life, it is as though we are telling God that He messed up when He created us. Remember this. God searches the heart. That is what we must pay attention to. 

Praise Him for who and what you are, and He will take care of you. I guarantee if you praise God for who you are and thank Him, your life will be worthwhile. God Bless you and your family.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I Thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank You
