Doing Our Best
Mark 16:17-18, and these signs will follow those who believe; in My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.
These two verses either excite you, or you don’t believe. The truth of these verses is found in the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ said these words. If the Lord Jesus Christ said it, it is.
The first thing to consider is that the Lord will not give you a task to do, and not provide you with what it takes to accomplish His will.
Romans 8: 28, And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
The reality is, not too many believers have the faith and kind of relationship with the Holy Spirit to do any of these things. It is possible however to grow our faith to this level, by getting as close to the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as you can, and that is by reading and practicing a lifestyle that goes along with the word of God.
Philippians 4: 13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Father God considers the level of our faith and decides what He wants each of us to do. He looks at our hearts, and because of that, one who prays for others because that is the only thing they can do, is just as valuable as anyone else, including the old Bible Heroes. Another case where God meets you where you are.
Some people talk to others about the Lord Jesus Christ. Some are not led to do that, so they pray regularly for others, and some contribute to help others spread the word of salvation. Stand up for truth, be kind to others, help others by giving your time as well as money, and physically help even strangers, not just friends or family.
Ephesians 2:10, we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Roman’s 12:2, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
We are on this Earth to honor God Almighty no matter what the world acts like. If we believe and reflect the light of the Lord Jesus Christ, we will fulfill our mission on this earth and in our life.
Sometimes it is hard to accept, but the situation in the world is allowed by God because it is going according to His plan. To complain about the situation of the world or our country is to go against the Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father. God bless you and your family Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again to save me and to forgive all my sins. I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I Repent of my sins, and I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross to make my salvation possible. Amen.
Praise The Lord!
