A Glimpse In Time
2 Timothy 3:1-5, For men shall be lovers of their own selves, Covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthinkable unholy; without natural affection, truth breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such turn away.
The Bible tells us what the plan God has for man is, as well as the cause for the end. The Lord Jesus Christ spent His life trying to prepare everyone to live according to the will of God. He also spoke of the consequences of a sinful life.
Matthew 24:32, Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putted forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh.
In the Old Testament Daniel and Joel wrote about the apocalypse. And in the New Testament we find the book of Revelation, written by the Apostle John after he was shown a vision of what the end would look like.
If you look at all the people who mentioned the end time you will realize the great importance concerning the destiny of man. The sense of urgency is made pretty plain.
People read the book of Revelation and make comments like how mean God is. If he is a loving God, how could He do the things written in the book?
The actual truth is the Book of Revelation is a story of hope for believers, as well as an example of Justice being fulfilled at last. Everyone who is condemned will know that they deserve it.
Matthew 24:7, For nation shall rise against Nation, and Kingdom against Kingdom: and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places.
Observing the situation, the entire Earth is in makes you look at what the Bible says about the end times. You can’t help noticing many of the signs the Bible describes also applies to our times. I’m not saying this is the end but there’s no doubt it’s getting closer.
With the truth readily available, a prudent person will decide which side they are on as soon as possible. The big thing we must consider right now is since even the Lord Jesus Christ didn’t know when the end would be, there is no way we could predict anything either.
As humans we realize that our time could be up one heartbeat from now. That is a fact we must all consider. Salvation is a heart thing and not a way of Escape. As tough as it is sometimes to look at reality, we are living in times that require just that. Denial will not make it go away.
The good thing about all of this is that the Lord Jesus Christ is always there and always listening. Talk to Him and tell Him what is in your heart, and do not fear anything, because with the Lord in your heart your eternity is secure. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins; I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!
