Keep In Touch

It Is Written, Acts 20:35, ( Paul said to the Ephesians ) I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said," it is more blessed to give than to receive." Paul was referring to our time as well as our money.
As we approach this Christmas season, we think about close friends and relatives, and acknowledge what they mean to us, with a card, or a phone call, or even a visit.
It is the time of year that warms and softens the hearts of many people. It is the perfect time to show our appreciation, especially to those who have helped us in some way, even if they just listen to us.
It is  also a good time to give some thought to others, even people we don't know. A kind word, doing something helpful, or even giving a couple of dollars to a person in need, the church, or some charity.
Acts of kindness are always a blessing to the giver, and the receiver. Both are blessed. Giving of yourself, and your time, in an attitude of love, makes God smile.
God gave us His best, His only son, for our salvation. We should make an effort to give our best to God. How do we do that? By following Jesus example, in how we act with God's children. Remember, we are all God's children, and all of our acts of charity and kindness should not be just at this time of year, but should be a way of life that we follow all year in remembrance of what Jesus did for us. Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
