As all believers know, Jesus blood washed away all of our sins, except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Mark 3:29 says in part, he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation.
Since Jesus forgave all of our sins, He expects us to forgive those who sin against us. Because forgiveness is so important to God, we must make it important to us. When we forgive and forget, we have peace in our hearts. If we don't forgive, we are hurt by the initial act against us, and the unforgiveness eats us up because we keep reliving what was done to us.
What many Christians don't understand is that even though sins are forgiven, there are still consequences. Even David, Solomon, and countless other heroes of the Bible, paid a heavy price for their transgressions.
If there are no consequences, there is usually no change in behavior. Consequences remind us of the error of our ways. If someone commits a crime, feels sorry he did it, and the victim forgives him, he will still go to jail.
"Vengeance is mine saith the Lord". How many times have you read that in the Bible, and do you believe it? Since every man is created by God, it is only right that God judge each man according to his actions. When we leave justice to the Lord, he gives us peace in our hearts, and we can move on with our lives. We should also remember, that when it comes time for us to be judged, we can praise the Lord that it is Him who is judging us.
I am not trying to say, that there will not be times, when it will be very difficult to forgive someone. As I said before, if you leave it with God, and believe in His justice, it will take the sting out of the situation. Have a blessed day. Praise the Lord!

Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
