My Time With Jesus Tuesday

                                                                        Our Covenant

Luke 22:20, Likewise He also took the cup after supper saying, this cup is the New Covenant in my blood which is shed for you.

Anyone who reads the Bible finds the word covenant mentioned dozens of times. To anyone who does not understand what a covenant is, it is an oath bound contract between God and humans.

When we are saved, we enter into a personal Covenant with God. It is a contract where each party agrees to specific behavior. Covenants in Bible times meant so much, that severe consequences fell on whoever broke the Covenant.

Hebrews13:20, Now may the God of Peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the Everlasting Covenant.

Galatians 3:15, brethren, I speak in the manner of men: though it is only a man’s Covenant if it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it.

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

We have been promised that our sins have been forgiven, as well as eternal life when we are saved by the grace of God. We have also received the helper, the Holy Spirit.

1 Peter 5:17, casting all your cares about Him, for He cares for you.

We are to trust the Lord in all things, and obey as He directs us. We are to accept the Lord God Almighty as our source for everything. Obey his Commandments and look to the Lord Jesus Christ as our example.

The best way for us to honor our part to the Covenant with our Lord Jesus Christ, is to read the word of God the Bible. The Bible is a treasure chest in the ways of Our Lord. And in it we see what He expects of us, and what we can expect of Him. It is after all a covenant, and we should be very familiar with both sides of it.

Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again to save me and to forgive all of my sins. I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I Repent of my sins and I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross to make my salvation possible. Amen.

Praise The Lord!

God's Promises Sunday

Healing And Miracles

Mark 16:17, Whoever believes and is baptized, will be saved, but whoever does not believe, will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe in My name, they will drive out demons, they will speak in new tongues.

When the Lord Jesus Christ walked this Earth He did many miracles. There was no limit to what He could speak into existence. Healing, raising the dead, multiplying food, water into wine, and many others.

The Lord Jesus Christ prayed, almighty God heard, and the Holy Spirit did according to Jesus' words. When the Lord Jesus Christ was ascending to Heaven after his Resurrection, He promised to send the same Holy Spirit to all who believed in, and accepted Him as their savior.

John 14:12-14, Truly I tell you, the one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do, and he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name I will do it, so that the Father may be glorified in the son. If you ask me anything in My name, I will do it.

Most people today do not believe their prayers can do anything, because they feel they don't have any power, Or enough Faith. They are right they don't.

The part most people don't understand is that power is just like it was with the Lord Jesus. Our job is to ask Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will act.

Luke 18:27, What is impossible with man is possible with God.

When the Lord Jesus Christ left this Earth, He wanted us to do what He did and more. We in effect have the tools of the Lord Jesus Christ on this Earth. We are His hands and feet. If we pray that means we believe to a certain extent. Remember this, we provide the words and God does the rest.

God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again to save me and to forgive all my sins. I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I Repent of those sins, and I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross to make my salvation possible. Amen.

Praise The Lord!

The Battle For The Day

Proverbs 16:3,  commit your activities to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

When we wake up in the morning, before we even get out of bed, we have a decision to make.  That decision determines the kind of day we will have. Know this, you will have problems, big and small, and you must decide how to handle them.

If you commit everything you do to the glory of God, you will conquer everything that comes against you. Small problems will become minor inconveniences, and big problems will not hurt you. You have God and the Holy Spirit. They are bigger than anything satan can throw at you.

Okay, it sounds pretty good, but what if I don’t have the faith to make it work? Well we can ask the Holy Spirit to help our unbelief, and at the same time remember that Almighty God is in control.

Mark 9:23-24, Jesus said to him, if you can? Everything is possible for the one who believes. Immediately the father of the boy cried out, I do believe, help me with my unbelief.

And looking ahead to the future, the answer really is simple. The closer you get to God, the closer He is to you. The promises are all in the Bible. God cannot lie so what He says must be true.

Another important point to remember is, don’t get hung up on who to pray to. The Trinity is one God in three Divine persons. Father God Almighty, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. God does not think the way we do, so don’t even try to figure anything out. When you get close to God, faith comes automatically.

James 4:7-8, therefore submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

So you see my friends, there is nothing to fear in life. As long as you trust in God, every day is a new opportunity to love and serve Him. In so doing, you reap all the blessings Almighty God has for you. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I thank you and Praise you for your death and resurrection, that healed me and forgave all of my sins. I Repent of my sins, and ask you to take control of my life.

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Fearless

2 Timothy 1:7, For God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Living in  constant fear is a way of life for most people today. We are surrounded by crime,  pandemics, inflation, climate  change, and many other things.

People seldom realize or believe that satan is the cause behind all of the chaos. When satan senses fear in someone, he seizes the opportunity to greatly exaggerate their fears.

Isaiah 41:10, Fear not, for I Am with You; be not dismayed. for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Once you know the truth about these fears, you can begin to deal with it. I am not talking about denying these things exist, but look to the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 34:4,  I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

And realize that satan will never give up. We must never give up, because we are on The Winning Side. satan cannot defeat the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:38-39, For I am persuaded, that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers nor things present nor things to come,  nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Almighty God always hears our prayers, and answers them. If you don't know how to pray, ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you, and tell our Father God what is on your heart. Whatever you do don't give up.

Psalm 118:6, It the Lord is on my side; I will not fear, what can man do to me?

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ,  I believe you died on the cross and rose again to save me and to forgive all my sins. I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I Repent of my sins and I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross to make my salvation possible. Amen.

Praise The Lord!

God's Promises Sunday

Importance Of Being A Father

Proverbs 22:6, train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Did you ever think about when you are growing up and had no  guidance about anything? You had a father, but everything you learned or didn't learn was from your friends.

3 John 1:4, I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

If you are a new father, do you want your children to learn from the street? Are you so happy with the way you were raised that you want your loved ones to follow your path?

People talk about family curses. Almost all family curses are caused by each generation learning from the one before it. The way to change any so-called curse is by prayer, and accepting the fact that change is important. How you are in your generation has an effect on the ones after you.

As a husband and father, you have been anointed by almighty God as the spiritual head of your family. It is your sacred duty to love and guide your family and their spiritual and physical lives. Lead by example, not just talk.

Pray and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pray with your children. read Bible stories to them and talk about those stories. Teach them about the Lord Jesus Christ, because their eternal life is influenced by you.

When you tell your child to do something, they may have a question, have patience and listen to them. Teach them right from wrong. Teach them how to do things, how to figure out decisions about their lives. This is another great spot for the Holy Spirit to help.

Teach your children to do the things you didn't know when you were young. Even grandparents can be involved. Being a father sometimes requires extreme patience, and unconditional love. Realize they are your children and you are a guide for as long as you live. Knowing you are a part of their eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ, is the greatest feeling you can have this side of Heaven.

There is a reason for all of this talk about being a father besides the obvious. We have a Heavenly Father, and His feelings toward us follow a lot of what was just said, but even more so. We are His children, and in order to take care of us in our eternity with Him, He did everything he could to show us the way. He sent the Lord Jesus Christ to die for our sins, to be raised from the dead, so that we could have the chance for eternal life.

We can never be as loving as God is,  but I think you're getting idea. If you see your child going astray from your teaching, how much more so would God be hurting if He saw His children heading on a path to the wrong eternity?

We have received the Holy Spirit when we were saved. The Holy Spirit is here to help us and to guide us  in our journey on this Earth. The only problem comes up, when we don't listen to His voice. If almighty God doesn't let you  go without helping you, it is a good example for you to follow. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

 Remember Jesus loves you.

Decisions,Decisions

Isaiah 30:21,  your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, this is the way, walk in it, whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

As we go through life, we encounter many new and unpleasant situations. Everything we do in life requires a decision. Doing nothing is a decision. We just can't get away from it.

Some people have a system that is like flipping a coin. Deciding something with an uninformed method is  reckless, but every decision no matter how hard we try can be just as dangerous.

When you stop and think, how many people affect the success of even simple decisions, it is mind boggling. To a certain extent every decision is subject to many circumstances.

Proverbs 16:3,  commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.

Do you have all the facts? Are those facts true? Are the people involved dependable? What about the things you don't know about, or you can't control?

There is so much involved, even small decisions  can turn up incredibly good, or spectacularly bad. We cannot know or control all of the factors involved.

Proverbs 19:21, there are many plans in a man's heart, but nevertheless the Lord's counsel that will stand.

A good subject to look at is religion. People are taught rituals and traditions that corrupt the truth and deceive people. For thousands of years people have offered sacrifices to their gods to appease those gods who were sometimes nothing more than stone or wood. Some even teach there are many ways to get to Heaven. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way. Only by His death and resurrection, can man get to Heaven.

The big problem is, no one knows how much it takes to get their version of Heaven. Even mainstream religion cannot be believed, because the word of God has been corrupted in many churches.

Christianity however is a relationship, not a religion. The Bible guides life. The Lord Jesus Christ paid for our sins on the cross, because the cost of forgiveness is beyond our ability to pay.

The Christian Bible tells us we are saved if we call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, repent, and acknowledge Him as our savior. When you ask the Lord Jesus Christ to control your life, trust Him to make the decisions, and have peace from then on.

As I have said many times in the past, the Holy Spirit was given to us at Salvation to be a helper. Part of His duties is to guide us in everything we think, say, and do. Take advantage of it. That is why He was sent by the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you and your family. Amen.

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Is It Too Late

Romans 13:1-2, Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

Many people are asking if we are in the end times. Many others are asking if it is too late. The Bible tells us that only the Father knows when the end of time will occur.

The Book of Revelation tells us what to expect in the final days. We can guess as much as we want and we will always be wrong. God is so loving and merciful, we can never know when or what will cause almighty God to say enough is enough. There is no reason to fear if you are saved.

I believe that the Book of Revelation also serves as a wake up call. It is a list of things we should use to determine to some extent how we stand with our Father God.

We can look at any government in the world, from the top all the way down to the lowest level in the smallest places, and see the same thing. Every sin you can imagine is not only pushed on people and glorified, it leaves God out of everything.

Representatives of the people as they call themselves do not represent the people, they serve themselves. Evil, corruption, lies, in government and media, allow them to control everything they possibly can. Laws are ignored and justice no longer exists.

Is it too late? The only way anything will change, is when people repent and trust in God. If you did a bad job, or didn't follow the rules, you would be fired. It therefore seems logical to fire politicians and not support the liars in the media. From the lowest level to the highest, hold them accountable to do what God's people want.

If Godly principles are ignored or not accepted, pray, and fire evil people by voting for someone that is good and will follow biblical principles. If you can't vote for some reason pray every day. No matter who says the Bible is wrong, ignore them and pray even more

Acts 5:29, But Peter and the other Apostles answered and said: we ought to obey God rather than men.

1 Timothy 2:1-4, Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving thanks be made for all men. For kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior, or desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth

Proverbs 22:27-28, all the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the Nations shall worship before you. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and He rules over the Nations.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

God's Promises Sunday

What God               Wants From You

1 Corinthians 10:31, therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

If you are like most believers, you wonder what can I do to please almighty God? What should I not do? How do I know for sure if I am pleasing God? The answer is simple, but can be difficult. There are many answers in the Bible, but we will look at a few.

Almighty God created us to love and serve Him. There are many ways we can know for sure if we are placing Him. A good place to start is by realizing that He wants us to rely on Him as our source for absolutely everything.

When we trust in Him, we are not only pleasing Him, but we are at the same time praising Him. There are many stories in the Bible that tell us that when the people consulted God, and followed what He said, they were successful. When they didn't they failed.

That is a good place to start. We received the Holy Spirit when we were saved. Therefore if we commit ourselves and our work to Almighty God, and ask the Holy Spirit to help and lead us, we will receive it. It never fails.

Deuteronomy 10: 12-13, And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the Commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good.

When the Israelites were going to war, they foolishly looked to others to help them. When they did their allies failed them and they lost. If they looked to almighty God first the battle was theirs. It stands to reason that one of the wisest things we could do, is to look at the Bible as a history book.

It is a good idea for us to talk to the Holy Spirit about what we want to do, and trust in Him to help us to do the right thing, He will not let us down. It may not be the way we plan on getting it done, but the fact is His ways are better. That my friends is what learning from history is all about. The Bible is a history book of of right and wrong.

Ecclesiastes 1:9, that which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.

2 Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

What will never change as far as humanity goes. The same mistakes are made over and over. The reasons generally are pride, arrogance, and a search for power. Each of us individually, can learn the truth and not repeat the failures. Enjoy life and be a winner through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 37:5,  commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.

Proverbs 3:5-6,  trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord !

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again to save me and to forgive all my sins. I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I Repent of my sins, and I thank you and praise you for what you did on the cross to make my salvation possible. Amen.
